When the holidays are over, we will be back to remove the lights, pack them up safely and securely to prevent damage, store them in water tight containers, and get them ready for next year.
This is the half of the job nobody asks about when they are comparing quotes, and it is the half that decides how the next four seasons go. We do our best to take lights down as early as January 2 and work through to January 31, weather permitting. We know things come up, so if you need different timing, let us know and we will make other arrangements.
Removal is done carefully, and that is not a small point. Lights come off with the clips that held them, not by pulling runs free, which is how gutters get bent, fascia gets scarred, and shingles get lifted. When we leave, there is nothing left on your roofline to patch, and nothing waiting in your gutters to find in the spring.
Once the display is down, it is packed and stored with us rather than handed back to you in a box.
