Season long upkeep and repairs for homes and businesses in Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, Shawnee, Prairie Village, Mission Hills, Kansas City, and surrounding areas.
Every display we install across Kansas City, Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, Shawnee, Prairie Village, Mission Hills, and surrounding areas stays our responsibility the entire time it is up. That is what maintenance means here, and it is included rather than sold as an add on.
If you have maintenance issues, give us a call or submit a Fix It Ticket on this site and we will get you back online. You are not diagnosing a dead run in December, and you are not on a ladder in the cold trying to trace a bad connection back to its source. That was the reason you hired a lighting company in the first place, and it would be a strange thing to leave out.
If you are a current customer with a display up and part of it has stopped working, you do not need an estimate. Submit a Fix It Ticket with the property address and which section is affected, and we will schedule the repair.
If you are not a customer yet and you are reading this because your display failed and nobody is coming to fix it, that is the gap this service exists to close. Estimates for next season are free and there is no obligation attached.
If the problem is ours or the product's, the fix is already covered by what you paid.
That includes unlit or failed bulbs, failed connections between runs, sections that have come loose or shifted position, timer settings lost after a power interruption, and anything else traceable to how we installed the display. There is no call out fee and no per visit charge for these. A display that fails is a display that is not doing the job it was bought for, so getting it working again is not a separate transaction.
A small number of causes sit outside our control, and for those we charge a minimal fee. We will always tell you the number before doing the work, so nothing arrives as a surprise afterward.
Damage from weather, including rain, snow, sleet, ice, and wind
Animals chewing through the lights, including squirrels, dogs, and cats
Blown fuses or breakers caused by additional lights or devices the homeowner has plugged into the same circuit
Theft and vandalism
On a house, a dark section is an irritation and a slightly disappointing month. On a storefront, it is different arithmetic entirely. December carries a disproportionate share of the year for most retail and hospitality businesses, and a dark building between two lit ones is eight weeks of a quiet first impression at exactly the wrong time.
That is why maintenance is priced into the job rather than offered as an upgrade. A commercial property owner should not be choosing between paying a call out fee and leaving the building dark through their best weeks, and a homeowner should not be spending the holidays managing a lighting problem.
If the entire display is dark and it was working the night before, the outdoor GFCI outlet has most likely tripped. Press the reset button on it. This is by far the most common cause of a whole display going out and it takes ten seconds to rule out.
If the lights are coming on at odd times or not at all, the timer may have lost its setting after a power interruption. Reset it if you are comfortable doing so.
Season long maintenance is included in every installation we do, residential and commercial, across Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, Shawnee, Prairie Village, Mission Hills, Kansas City, and surrounding areas. If you are hanging your own lights, or working with a company that is unreachable after install day, that is the difference worth pricing out. Estimates are free.
